Childish Gambino- Heartbeat

I decided to put this track up because it’s off Childish’s upcoming album Camp. This album is going to kill, sadly it releases the same day as Drake’s album and may be a little over shadowed but, I’m convinced Childish Gambino is so much more raw. This song has a nice techno vibe with a solid chorus to match. I’m so stuck on this Camp album being so good so this song to me is such a tease. Camp releases on 11/15/11. #snapbacknation

This video had to go up. It’s so raw and when the chorus drops it just has so much more “umph.” The one thing I have to say is I hate the editing for TV crap but, what are you going to do? ENJOY!!

This album drops soon so it’s to get you ready!

VIDEO: Childish Gambino – “Bonfire”

This video was dropped earlier today just in time for Halloween.  As I’m sure you all know, we here at Snapback Rap are HUGE fans of Childish Gambino and this track was put up as soon as it surfaced about a month ago (which you can peep here).  The debut effort from the multi-talented Gambino is set to come out November 15th, but for now check the video out and download the track below.

Childish Gambino- Rolling In The Deep (Jamie xx Remix)

Ok so this isn’t new at all but if you’re a true Childish Gambino fan this song is what put him on the map. In his song “Freaks and Geeks” he uses the line,

” Nigga can’t you tell that my sample of Adele was so hot, I got these hood Nigga’s blowing up my cell.”

DAM IS THAT THE TRUTH. Gambino’s verse doesn’t roll in until about three minutes in but he MURDERS THIS! enjoy. OH and we’ll call this the jam for throwback thursday even though it wasn’t too long ago.

P.S. Check out his soon to drop album “Camp” set to drop in early november.

Childish Gambino- Bonfire

Childish Gambino has released the CDQ version of a track that is off his upcoming album “Camp.” It’s rightfully named “Bonfire,” the track hits hard and keeps Childish’s normal intensity. With quirky lyrics that explain his life story and his coming up. He’s top on my list for up and coming rap. So don’t count out Donald Glovers ability to rap, the kid was able to write for 30 Rock, when he was in college. His lyricism and style are what make him unique in this rap game, he’ll be appreciated for his greatness one day and my goal is to be able to say, “I told you so” when he reaches the top.

” these rappers are afraid of him, grrr Invader Zim.” -Childish Gambino
