New Jon Connor mixtape, The People’s Rapper LP, released Friday, April 13th.

Just from looking at the album art, you’ll be able to see the relevance to the classic hip hop album, The Marshall Mathers LP. Once you listen to this tape, you’ll see why. All the tracks are spit over some of the most well known instrumentals from Eminem’s career. Normally, I’d not even want to hear anybody but Eminem on one of his beats, but Connor tears up every track with such honesty and passion.

He lays his heart out on every track, one of the realist tapes I’ve ever heard. You could just tell how much he loves it.

Oh, you like freestyles? So do I.

Here are some of my favorites. Some are newer, some are older. You might have seen some of them before or maybe this is the first time listening to them. Again, these are just some of the many I like.

Throwback Thursday – 50 Cent feat Eminem – Patiently Waiting

This song is just such hard 50 Cent. Not to mention the fact that Eminem absolutely destroys his verse. I just remember having this song on repeat, it was a favorite of mine and to this day I haven’t found a 50 Cent song that tops it. He must be too caught up in the Vitamin Water business, in order to make a hard rap song. Enjoy!
