Mixtape: EST 4 Life – MGK

Machine Gun Kelly released a mixtape today by him and his EST crew. He’s been touring pretty much non stop this last year with Tech N9ne and others.

This is strictly for the fans and to give them something while we are patiently waiting for the Lace Up album that is dropping October 9th. This mixtape is not all new songs, but instead a compilation of old and new songs that haven’t been released for download.

Mixtape: 5280 by Russ

Remember Russ’ album, Straight From Limbo, well, here is his newest set of tracks on freshly released album, 5280.

Russ has the talent that hip hop NEEDS. He has lyrics that will make your mind spin and a flow that can make one shiver with chills. The guy is a genius and shit… you hear his beats? Classics.. That’s why his twitter name is @iMakeClassics.

Diemon is up next.

MIXTAPE: Royalty by Childish Gambino

Childish Gambino’s Independence Day mixtape gift is here. “Royalty” features extensive guest spots including School Boy Q, Ab-Soul, Ghostface Killah, RZA, Bun B, Danny Brown, Nipsey Hussle and more. Some production from Boi-1da, who works with artists such as Drake, makes this tape a must download.

Gambino spits such magic on the mic and he has a way to be so honest and cool at the same time. I listened to the entire tape before posting this and I personally think this could have been an album.

Mixtape: Tory Lanez – Sincerely Tory

Finally! Sincerely, Tory was dropped this morning. Tory Lanez on fire right now in the game. His deliveries about life and his story about women are so vivid in his lyrics they paint a picture in the listeners mind.

This entire tape brings the heat while he sings over tracks and raps over some of the nicest beats I’ve heard in a while. I urge you to take a listen.

New mixtape released my MMG artist, Meek Mill. Dreamchasers 2 will give any hip hop head a great listen. This set of tracks has everything we’d expect from Meek; great lyrics, hard beats and a wide variety of features.

Kevin Cossom  just released his mixtape, “Hook Vs. Bridge 2″ on April 18th. This is a follow up from his EP in 2009, titled “Hook Vs. Bridge”.

He has an amazing voice and some catchy hooks, verses and bridges (pun intended). Be on the look out for this guy because this mixtape had about twenty five thousand views and six thousand downloads within the first three days of being released.
Awesome Cossom.

MIXTAPE: The People’s Rapper LP – Jon Connor

New Jon Connor mixtape, The People’s Rapper LP, released Friday, April 13th.

Just from looking at the album art, you’ll be able to see the relevance to the classic hip hop album, The Marshall Mathers LP. Once you listen to this tape, you’ll see why. All the tracks are spit over some of the most well known instrumentals from Eminem’s career. Normally, I’d not even want to hear anybody but Eminem on one of his beats, but Connor tears up every track with such honesty and passion.

He lays his heart out on every track, one of the realist tapes I’ve ever heard. You could just tell how much he loves it.
